| Spelling Wizard has been designed to help children with their homework or to be used as an additional tool in the classroom and has been praised by teachers and parents. The main strength of Spelling Wizard is its flexibility which allows children or parents to type and save their own lists of words. These word lists are then used to generate five games which make learning both fun and relevant. |

There are five simple word lists built into the cd-rom but these can easily be edited. Typing in homework spellings or problem words is very straightforward and the new spellings are then saved and will automatically appear next time you visit the first screen - even if Spelling Wizard has been closed down in the meantime. Because new words are typed in and not chosen from a database, any words of up to twelve letters can be used - even foreign words. |
